Glen Acres Elementary School is one of ten elementary schools in the West Chester Area School District. Originally built in 1966, in the 1996 - 1997 school year, Glen Acres received a major face-lift. The building was completely renovated from top to bottom. In addition to the new classrooms, a new wing was constructed and houses Physical Education, Art, and Music Education facilities. The building also offers a student library and an exciting technology center. The school also has an arboretum on-site. Students who graduate after 5th grade go to Fugett Middle School and East High School for secondary education.
