[edit] April 2008

In the interest of neatness, I have archived my talk page through this point.Gladys J Cortez 20:25, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] OK, I'm not a stalker, I promise, but...

I was reading your userpage, and clicked on your "/" subpages, and noticed that you, like me, are a "recovering junior high teacher". I taught middle school, (grade 6, all subjects, plus grade 8 math) for several years. It's been 6 years since I "moved on", but still, I get shivers thinking about the little demons students. Nothing else to say really, other than I'm glad you're in my watchlist "Gladys." Cheers, Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 20:33, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Curious George (TV series)

Hi, Gladys. Looks like the same guy. He's already had a last warning on his other IP address but I've left another on this one. If necessary, the articles he targets can be semi-protected since he doesn't seem to use an account. Please keep me in touch. Regards --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 01:37, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Barney's Magical Musical Adventure

I find this rather funny. It appears that the person making the edits has Wikipedia mixed up with the shows producers. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 07:33, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Dragon Tales

Hey, got your message. Ill place a warning on his page, thought i did, talk laterzs thanks Ottawa4ever (talk) 00:08, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Ilovecallie

It's a sock of Elladog (talk · contribs), apparently. Not sure of that rings any bells. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 22:59, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] A little gift

The Barnstar of Good Humour
For that recent comment on the "Sexy ass not being watched enough" thread at the AN. Nice work. Rudget (Help?) 16:53, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
:) Just a little sign or 'preciation. Rudget (Help?) 18:23, 23 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Arthur

I wasn't sure about that one myself, but thought it was justified because it doesn't describe the product at all and someone might wonder exactly what the Zoo Pals are. If you want me to revert I can. Nate (chatter) 23:39, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

It was a good idea to revert in retrospect, as we don't even have a paper plates article (it RD's to plate), so they'd do better highlighting and Googling than following the link in this case. Eh... Nate (chatter) 05:17, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Thomas & Friends

Hey don't worry about it. I'm a regular on Guild Wars Wiki at [1] so I know how to wiki somewhat, I just didn't feel the need to make an account here. I have gotten my 2 year old son into Thomas (Because his name is the same and my wife....) But anyway, not a big deal, don't sweat it. I was just trying to get rid of rubbish. Sorry I wasn't very concise. 209.159.197.36 (talk) 04:24, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

This makes me furious
This makes me furious

You know, I often find myself outraged by butter. Newts also make me angry. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:26, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 19:06, 1 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] DUCK-y

I just saw your post on my talk - don't know how I missed it. I was bonkers all weekend, got back today with way too much going on. Still need assistance? Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 17:40, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

I'm not sure why butter makes someone furious....who added that? Anywho, new users show up all the time that are amazingly capable editors. Many times, its as the result of utilizing our keen right to vanish feature. We're allowed to leave, and come back. However, only the ones that are serious about wanting to "disappear" come back as n00bs, not as ANI and RFA contributors. Time will tell, you're right, no need to fish. Usually, the editor jumps out of the water and into the boat him/herself without our assistance. Cheers, Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 18:50, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Ok, but I still don't get the butter joke. What does butter have to do with atrocity? And I was over-involved in that whole prima-facist thing (read his talkpage). Did I make the grammar guffaw?  :)Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 21:26, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Ah, so only an analogy. Whew, I thought someone somewhere had actually branded a type of butter as "atrocity". (Hey, if Smucker can be the name of a jelly, why not "Cholesterol free, I can't believe it's not Atrocity" ?) And I wanna know why I can make Ĺ Ú Ž Б Ч ʝ d̪ Ć and ď, but not "backwards r". I'm going to the foundation with this. What an atrocity (rich, creamy atrocity)....Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 21:39, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Ah! Nevermind! I can Ya (Cyrillic) do it! Я Я Я Я Я Я Я Я Я yay! Butter avoided....this all reminds me of your relabelled Wiki-stalking...mmmm.mmmmm.mmmm...good ...Keeper | 76 | Disclaimer 21:42, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Gsnguy is like a zombie...

He Just. Won't. Die. Got the sock tag on this IP and reverted Elmo's World and Monsterpiece Theater cruft from him. I guess the school year's over so IUP can't stop him anymore. Nate (chatter) 21:14, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] HellofaDeal

Yup, it's him...he 'f-ing passworded' Netsnipe...not such a good idea to do to an admin who blocked him straightaway. His brain must be cottage cheese, which annoys me more than butter :-P. Nate (chatter) 22:10, 4 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Teletubbies Funding

My source for the funding of Teletubbies is from Wayback Machine's caches. There are actually a few links so here is a link with all the links to the old caches. http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.pbs.org/teletubbies —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gabrielboros100 (talkcontribs) 19:42, 5 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] User:TheInvisibleMachine11

I don't see a need for a checkuser at this time -- the sockpuppetry is pretty obvious, and there appears to be only this new account (I checked, and there's no Machine12 yet). NawlinWiki (talk) 19:32, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Did you see he tried to copy your entire userpage into his? What a loon; I got passworded by 164.156.231.55; applied the sock tag to him. Looks like he's probably at the local Job Service office creating havoc on their computers or some other government place (JMO). Nate (chatter) 20:37, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
Actually Essjay was the first one to welcome me to the site and post to my talk page, heh. Such an irony. Nate (chatter) 06:20, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] More Funding Vandalizers

There is a user who keeps adding Kellogg's Rice Krispies and Chuck E. Cheese's as funders to The Magic School Bus, which they are not. I have deleted the false information at least twice, but the user keeps on putting it back in the article. His username is 71.130.199.34. I am not trying to bug you, but since you seem to be good at deleting false funding information, maybe you could do something about it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gabrielboros100 (talkcontribs) 17:47, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
