[edit] IP vandals
:If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

[edit] Prevent page recreation
Old way:
- Create page with deletedpage
- Protect page
New way:
- Make sure the page is deleted
- Go to WP:PT, click on the current month.
- Add article name, see protected title for other parameters.
- For it to take effect, you have to purge the current month - http://en.wikipedia.org../../../../articles/p/r/o/Wikipedia%7EProtected_titles_June_2008_List_12e1.html
[edit] History merges
Say you have the main article (article 1) and an article to be merged into it (article 2)
- Delete article 1
- Move article 2 to the same name article 1 had (so for instance, in this case it would be article 1)
- Then restore all the revisions for article 1
- All the histories are then merged
- Note:It's a very difficult to merge them back out
- Whichever article has the latest date/time becomes the current version
