[edit] Redirect to Eye surgery?

Since this is, as the creator noted, a direct copy-paste from Eye surgery (and indeed it is), maybe a better solution is to redirect Glaucoma surgery to Eye surgery instead, or rework one or the other? I personally lack the special knowledge to do so myself, but I think rather than having the same text twice a redirect or merge would be appropriate. *shrug* —Keakealani 05:19, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

I believe the creation of this article was made from cut-and-paste, not copy-and-paste, so the information does not appear twice. There is much more to be said about glaucoma surgeries than what appears here, so it makes sense for this article to exist independently. Cheers! -18:55, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] The dog picture at the top of the article

The dog that is currently pictured at the top of the article had it's eyes removed. (See the talk page for this image.) I don't think this qualifies as a typical glaucoma treatment. At least not typical enough to be the first thing people see when they open this article. Perhaps it would be better used on Enucleation. I'll give this some time for discussion, but I plan to move / remove this in the next few weeks. If you agree, go ahead and change it yourself. Garvin Talk 04:00, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
