[edit] wings of a griffin?

how can it have the wings of a griffin when the griffin has wings of a eagle? that doesn't make sence, can someone cite this source?--Manwithbrisk 21:06, 4 January 2007 (UTC)

I suppose they must be larger than an eagle to support the size of the griffin, therefore any other example of eagles wings in such dimension are griffin's wings. At least, that's my rationalization of it. 67.5.147.11 (talk) 12:13, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
