Talk:Glass Key award

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have correctes some misunderstandings in the original text:

  1. Even if the text is awarded by Skadinaviska Kriminalsällskapet, it's NOT awarded only to Scandinavian authors. Finnish and Icelandic authors are also members of S.K.
  2. The award is NOT necessarily for a "novel of the year". (Presumably because the jurors have to wait for translations.)

[edit] Update

I've added the English name of the group, and changed the Norwegian(?) to Swedish, as this seems to be where it's based. If it really goes by different translated names in each country we should list them all. If there is an updated website anywhere that would help as well.

I removed the novel The Beast, listed as the 2005 winner; it was only shortlisted per my search. The Man Who Hated Women was the actual winner. The Redbreast is then the 2006 winner, not The Man Who Hated Women. --Dhartung | Talk 11:03, 6 February 2008 (UTC)
