Glasinfryn

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Glasinfryn is a small village in Gwynedd, Wales, effectively between the village of Tregarth and the city of Bangor, Gwynedd.

Residential in nature but with many outlying farms.

Noted, perhaps, for having two bridges—one carries the old Bethesda, Wales to Bangor railway trackbed on an attractive Victorian viaduct, the other is a concrete built flyover carrying the A55 expressway built in the 1980s.

It is credited as the start of the A4244 road but in reality the road lies approximately 1KM south of the village.
