Glasgow Stakes

The Glasgow Stakes is a Listed flat horse race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old thoroughbred colts and geldings. It is run over a distance of 1 mile 3 furlongs and 16 yards (2,227 m) at Hamilton Park Racecourse in mid May.

Prior to 2005 it was run at York over 1 mile 2 furlongs and 88 yards (2,092 m), gaining Listed status in 1999. A minor trial race for the Epsom Derby, it was notably won in 1993 by the subsequent Derby winner Commander in Chief. The 1995 winner Tamure went on to finish runner-up in the Derby to Lammtarra.
