The Gland-tailed Free-tailed Bat (Chaerephon bemmeleni) is a species of bat in the Molossidae family. It is found in Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montanes, dry savanna, and caves. It is threatened by habitat loss.
