Gjokaj

Gjokaj is an Albanian clan of the Triesh tribe of Malësi e Madhe. The Gjokaj clan derives from a single ancestor named Gjok Lumi. Gjokajs originate from the village of Muzheck- Triesh, Malesia. The present day Gjokajs are related mainly through three brothers: Prel Ivani, Gjek Ivani, & Lek Ivani. Gjokajs are part of one of the tribes of Triesh to be known for its blood line with the greater ancestry of Bak Keqi, who was the early brother of Lazder Keqi of Hoti. The Gjokaj ancestry is as follows:
