Give Thanks Stakes

The Give Thanks Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for three-year-old and above thoroughbred fillies and mares. It is run over a distance of 1 mile and 4 furlongs (2,414 metres) at Cork Racecourse in early August.
It is named in honour of the racehorse Give Thanks, winner of the Irish Oaks in 1983. It was promoted to Group 3 status in 2007, having been previously classed as a Listed race.
