Giussano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 25 km north of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 22,696 and an area of 10.3 km².[1]
The municipality of Giussano contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Paina, Birone, Robbiano, and Brugazzo.
Giussano borders the following municipalities: Inverigo, Carugo, Arosio, Briosco, Mariano Comense, Carate Brianza, Verano Brianza, Seregno.
