Giuseppe Sardi

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Giuseppe Sardi (1680 - 1753) was an Italian architect.

Born at Sant'Angelo in Vado, Marche (then part of the Papal States), he was self-taught.

He was the designer of the façade of the church of La Maddalena in Rome[1], and in 1718 he restored the façade of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, transforming it from Romanesque to Baroque.
