Giuseppe Palica

Archbishop Giuseppe Palica (1869 - 1936) was Auxiliary Bishop of Rome and Titular Archbishop of Philippi.

Born on 8 October 1869 in Rome, he was ordained a parish priest on 18 December 1892 by Cardinal Basilio Pompilj.

On 25 April 1917 he was appointed Archbishop Auxiliary of Rome and Titular Archbishop of Philippi. On 20 May 1917, aged 47, he was ordained as Titular Archbishop of Philippi.

He was present at the signing of the Reichskonkordat between the Holy See and the Nazi government of Germany on 20 July 1933.

On 16 December 1936, he died, aged 67. He had been a priest for 44 years and a bishop for 19 years.
