Git Up, Git Out is a song from OutKast on their debut album Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik from 1994. It is a conscious Southern story-rap about the dangers of giving into circumstances and not doing anything with one's life. The song features Cee-Lo and Big Gipp of Goodie Mob rapping from different aspects in addition to Dre's and Big Boi's verses. This was the first song that any of Goodie Mob's members were heard in. The track, like every other song from the album, is produced by the Dungeon Family's own Organized Noize.
