Gisbert Wüstholz is a German mathematician who obtained his Ph.D. from the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg in 1977, under the supervision of Theodor Schneider. His contributions are mainly in the area of algebraic number theory and diophantine approximation. He currently is Professor of Mathematics at the ETH Zurich.
