No, we're not...i would re-write it but i cant remember enough of the book to do so, it's been too long since i read it, and i cant bring myself to delete it, although it probably should be as it is against wikipedia policy. anyway, i'm not touching this one but i encourage anyone reading this to have a shot at re-writing this. [edit] Removal of last line in plot summary

"Tracy Chevalier develops the character of Griet intensely throughout the duration of this novel. She uses experiences and other characters to influence Griet's attitude, behavior, and ultimately shape her identity." This statement in the first sentence is not NPOV, and the second sentence is a generic statement that could apply to any character in any book and on its own is not a useful piece of information....sooooo.....i am deleting this paragraph. [edit] Removal of dead link

"* A Review of Girl With A Pearl Earring, by Tracy Chevalier" is dead, hence removed! Kezpipa 15:58, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

You don't need to. This plot description is not more revealing than could reasonably be expected from its being called a plot description. It doesn't ruin anything about the novel.67.81.69.228 (talk) 19:13, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
