Girton High School, founded in 1888 is one of the best schools in Mumbai. It is a girls school. Located in South Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India, it has a good reputation for education and extra-curricular activities. A place where education and sports are given equal weightage to ensure all-round development of its students. Also, the school is not profit-oriented. In the past, it has organized fund raisers for many of its students, some of whom were undergoing expensive medical surgery or were diagnosed with a terminal illness. Formally it was based on the SSC board but was recently converted to the ICSE board.
