Girlguiding Essex South East is one of the Counties that make up the Girlguiding Anglia Region. Girlguiding Anglia is itself a subdivision of Girlguiding UK.

The County is divided into Divisions.

There are 6 Guide or Scout and Guide campsites: Guideacres, Southwoodham Ferrars HQ, Guidewoods, Belchamps, Thriftwood and Broadstone Warren.

[edit] Essex International Jamboree 2008

Between 2008-07-26 and 2008-08-02, thousands of Scouts and Guides from Essex and beyond are expected hold Jamboree in Essex. The county jamboree, organised by the three counties of Essex (Essex Scouts, Girlguiding Essex North East, Essex South East and Essex West hold a joint jamboree every four years. In 2004 there were 7,500 Scouts and Guides at Kirby-le-Soken, near Clacton, Essex.
