It's extremely silly to have to keep changing "part 5" and "series 5" back and froth. The word "part" should be used, since steel ball run also uses "part 7" in its title. Please take note of this before editing. --User:Eternal_Sleeper March, 2007

[edit] who's actually Giorno's father?

I know that Araki stated that Dio is his father, but really isn't he Jonathan's son because he has Jonathan's genes (when Dio's body was destroyed by Jonathan with the hamon, only his head survived), Gold Experience ability is a lot like the hamon (though someone else thought of that), and Giovanna in Italian means John (in female uses) [1]. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.164.35.55 (talk) 21:51, 22 April 2007 (UTC).

Biologically and spiritually we can say he's Jonathan's child, since near the end of Part 3 Dio claimed that the blood of the Jonathan family bloodline is best for "that" body. However, relation wise I would still call him the son of Dio. Besides, what would we call those "sons of Dio" near the end of part 6, Sons of Jonathan? Eternal Sleeper 23:50, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
well I guess your right Giorno is like an adopted son of Dio but I still believe that he's Jonathan son despite the similarities between himself and Dio. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.164.35.55 (talk) 03:23, 23 April 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Name

While I believe the character's name is indeed spelled "Giorno Giovanna" in the Italian translation, it's spelled "Giorno Giovana" on official Japanese merchandise (the PlayStation 2 video game, for example). Besides, it actually makes more sense than the female name "Giovanna". Maybe the article should be renamed and edited accordingly? 88.161.129.43 (talk) 22:40, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Goldrequiem.jpg

Image:Goldrequiem.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
