Giovo is a comune (municipality) in the province of Trento in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 10 km northeast of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,464 and an area of 20.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Giovo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Verla, Ville, Palù, Valternigo, Ceola and Masen.
Giovo borders the following municipalities: Salorno, Mezzocorona, Faedo, Cembra, San Michele all'Adige, Lisignago, Lavis, Albiano and Trento.
