George Perris was born in Athens in 1983 to a Greek father and French mother, writer Joelle Lopinot, he grew up in a both French and Greek cultural environment. Currently studies Ancient Greek literature at the University of Athens. At the age of 4, Perris decided he wanted to become a singer, and therefore started studying the piano. At the age of 14, he started performing at several contests, festivals, and piano bars. The famous Greek composer Mimis Plessas discovered him at the age of 18 and gave him the opportunity to tour all over Greece and Cyprus. He then signed with Minos EMI and shortly after released his first solo album. “My new day” was partly composed by Greek major hit composer Stefanos Korkolis and also contained the Greek version of “Caravane”, Raphael’s major European hit. The Toured with tenor Mario Frangoulis in summer 2006.

- The song "karavani" is a remake of Raphael's major european hit, "Caravane". The greek version of the song was chosen by the French radiobroadcasting and was included in the cd of French Radio that was distributed in 350 radio stations all over the word.
- His song "Erotas" ,written by Stefanos Korkolis and Revekka Roussi, is the title song of the television series "Erotas". and was a hit in Greece and Cyprus.
- His favourite singers are Nana Mouskouri, Maria Callas and Lara Fabian.
- He always sings some French songs in his live performances.
