Giorgos Balogiannis

Giorgos Balogiannis (Greek: Γιώργος Μπαλογιάννης; born 17 January 1971 in Athens, Greece) is a retired Greek basketball player.
He played for VAO BC from 1988 to 1992. In 1993 he moved to PAOK BC. He won the Korac Cup in 1995 and 2 Greek Cups.
In 2000 he moved to Panathinaikos BC and won 2 Greek Championships (2001, 2003) and 1 Greek Cup (2003). He played at the Suproleague final in 2001.
In the season 2003-04 Balogiannis played for Makedonikos BC and the next year he returned to PAOK BC to play one more year.
He was a member of the Greek National Squad that won the 4th place in the 1998 FIBA World Championship.
