Giora Spiegel (Hebrew: גיורא שפיגל), (born July 27, 1947 in Petah Tikva) is a former Israeli international footballer and is currently a manager. As a footballer, he holds the record for the longest Israel career, spanning 14 years and 357 days.

The son of Eliezer Spiegel, who was a prominent footballer during the British Mandate of Palestine. Giora attended Herzliya Hebrew High School.
[edit] Playing career
As a youth, he played at Maccabi Tel Aviv and from an early age was scouted as being a future talent. By age seventeen, he was leading the national U-21 side to Asian championships and by eighteen, he had been called up to the full side. By 1973, he had a spat with Maccabi manager, Jerry Beit haLevi over transferring to a club in France. He later left Maccabi for France and didn't come back until 1979 when he rejoined Maccabi and helped them win the league.

Today, Giora acts as a general manager of Beitar Jerusalem.
