Gino Guidugli is professional Canadian football player, and former professional American football player. Guidugli is currently one of the backup quarterbacks with the Canadian Football League's British Columbia Lions, and has been assigned jersey #13.

Gino played at Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. He was a successful quarterback who was coached by Dale Mueller. Guidugli led Highlands to two state championships in 1999 and 2000 and he also was a backup when Highlands won state in 1998. Guidugli still holds many Kentucky records for quarterbacks. Guidugli also excelled on the basketball court. He led his basketball team to the Kentucky sweet sixteen his senior season with a buzzer beating shot against Covington Holmes.

Guidugli played collegiately at the University of Cincinnati from 2001 to 2004. He owns virtually all of the school’s passing and total offense records.[1] Guidugli finished his career with 11,453 yards on 880 of 1556 passes (56.6%) and 78 touchdowns. He also rushed for 208 yards and scored five times on 235 carries.[1]

Following his college career, Guidugli joined the Tennessee Titans in 2005 as an undrafted free agent before being released. He later joined the Green Bay Blizzard of the af2, leading the Blizzard to the af2 playoffs.

Guidugli signed a free agent contract with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League on July 23, 2007, following injuries to starting quarterback Dave Dickenson and backup Buck Pierce.[1]

Gino has two brothers currently playing football in college, Jeff at Southeastern Louisiana, and Ben at Cincinnati. His youngest brother, Tony, is a junior at Highlands High School, and may follow in his older brothers footsteps.
