Coordinates: Ginjo Thakurgaon (हिंदी - गिंजों ठाकूर गाँव) is a small town situated in the northern region of the Ranchi district in Jharkhand. It is about 25 km north-west of Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand. The town is bounded by Mandar, Burmu, Pithauria and Ratu.
Forest Research Center at Mandar and Patratu Thermal Power Station at Patratu are within a short distance.
