Gingerjake is a band from Minneapolis Minnesota. The name Gingerjake comes from a moonshine back in the days of prohibition that was known to put people into a coma or give them a jake walk. After only seven shows[1] together they placed 2nd in 93X's Battle Of The Bands and got to play at the Summerfest concert. In 2004 they returned to the 93X Battle Of The Bands and won a main stage slot at the 93X Riverfest concert. They independently released their Paralysis EP in March 2004 after traveling to Orange County California and meeting Producer/Engineer Cameron Webb. In 2007 they released How to Kiss the Devil Goodbye LP and after only two months of its first pressing it sold out.
