[edit] AfD nomination of Pier Augusto Gemignani
An editor has nominated Pier Augusto Gemignani, an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pier Augusto Gemignani and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 17:59, 8 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Thank you
No problem -- I seem to spend a lot of my time here defending articles that seem to me interesting, I just wish my success rate were higher! As to recreating the article, this is allowed if you can improve the article to address the concerns of the people who asked for deletion. In this case, you would need to explain why Pier Augusto Gemignani was important, prune the article of irrelevant personal material, and provide references which discuss him in reasonable detail. The references need not be available online, and need not be in English -- Italian science magazines would be fine. I can provide the text of the version that was deleted if you need a copy.
Hope this is helpful, and do contact me again via my talk page if you need any help. Cheers, Espresso Addict (talk) 13:40, 23 April 2008 (UTC)
