White gold received good reviews, although The Independent described it as a "ripping yarn" . The typo on page xiii, line 3 made me treat the remainder of text with some caution. A previous reader of Falmouth Library's copy of White gold has been unable to resist making a pencilled comment on "In the maintop and foretop, the twelve-pounders also let rip" - "not up the masts" he remarks.

The article would be improved if the list of titles by Milton were not linked and were given bibliographic details.

The publication details of White gold are: Publisher: Hodder & Stoughton

Date of publication: 2004

ISBN 0-340-79469-0

We also need to know Giles Milton's Date of Birth and education etc.
