The previous version of this page contained three errors relating to Alain de Botton. It was alleged: 1. Alain de Botton had an education on both sides of the Atlantic. While he enrolled at Harvard University in the fall of 1991, he pulled out before classes began. 2. He was not enabled to pursue his philosophical career thanks to his father. A glance at his sales figures will quickly show that his achievements stand up on their own. 3. He does not have a TV production company dedicated solely to him - Seneca productions (www.senecaproductions.com) makes programmes featuring Grayson Perry and Matt Collings, among others
