Gillian Cross

Gillian Cross (born 1945, in London) is a children's author. She won the 1990 Carnegie Medal for her book Wolf and the 1992 Whitbread Awards in the Children's category for her book The Great Elephant Chase.
She also wrote The Demon Headmaster series of books that were later turned into television series by the BBC
