Giles Ruffer

Giles Ruffer is the author and illustrator of the 6699 series of comics. Originally from East Grinstead, West Sussex, UK, Giles moved to Leeds, West Yorkshire, in the late summer of 2004, where he first started writing his comics. Of the many popular stories include the mysterious tales of Robin and Jessica, where Robin sinks into a coma for the duration of his estranged girlfriend's trip to Australia. This leads to great confusion on her arrival home. Giles also contributed to a periodical comic-based fanzine entitled "Holy Sh*t, Bro!" from early 2006 to the present. His work can also be found in the OK Comics collaborative effort published in May 2006.

Giles used to take part in national cross-country running and Track and Field. Two of his biggest achievements were claiming first place in a South of England Inter-Counties 1500 metre race and winning the English Schools Cross Country Cup, placing third individually. Giles also plays in a melodic punk outfit, based in Leeds, called It's Broken. They have one demo released.
