Giles County High School is a public secondary school located in Giles County in Pulaski, Tennessee. The current school principal is Robert Hastings, who has served since the 2004-2005 school year. The school serves about 1,000 students in grades 9-12.
Giles County High School's nickname in athletics is the Bobcats, and the mascot's name is Bobby the Bobcat. The school is noted in athletics to be a basketball school,[citation needed] as it has won 2 girls state championships with numerous state tournament appearances;[citation needed] also, the boys team has had its share of success, winning their first state championship in 2003[4] under the guidance of head coach Billy Holt and by star Tyler Smith.
The Giles County Band of Gold is also very successful, especially since the mid-1990s.[citation needed]
