Gilberto González (born December 15, 1970) is a triathlete from Venezuela. González competed at the first Olympic triathlon at the 2000 Summer Olympics. He took thirty-seventh place with a total time of 1:52:13.03.
Four years later, at the 2004 Summer Olympics, González again competed. He placed thirty-sixth with a time of 1:59:12.20. He won the gold medal at the 1999 Pan American Games in Winnipeg (Canada) in 1999. His best results are 2 World Cups victories in Cancun (Mexico) and Noosa (Australia).
He is math professor in the University of Los Andes (ULA) since 1996, and has an Msc degree in Math Applied (ULA).
