Gilberto Dimenstein

Gilberto Dimenstein, a senior Brazilian journalist, was born in the city of Recife in 1956. He started his career at Shalom, a magazine dedicated to the Jewish community. Subsequently, he worked as a political correspondent for O Globo, Veja, Jornal do Brasil and Correio Braziliense. He is currently the main political writer for Folha de São Paulo, one of the most important Brazilian newspapers. Apart from politics, Dimenstein has an interest in children’s rights and has written many books on this subject.
