Gilad Hochman (Hebrew: גילעד הוכמן, b. 26 July 1982 in Herzeli'ya) is an Israeli Composer.
Hochman studied composition with Ilya Heifetz and Gil Shohat and graduated (cum laude) from the Buchman-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University in 2007. At the same year, when he was 24 years old, Hochman was awarded the prestigious Israeli Prime Minister Award for his artistic work. In 2005, at age 22, he was appointed to be the composer in residence of the Ra'anana Symphonett Orchestra, the youngest appointment made in an Israeli orchestra. Hochman's oeuvre includes a large number of pieces commissioned and performed by orchestras, ensembles and soloists in Israel, Europe and the US. Today, Mr. Hochman resides in Berlin, Germany, where he continues his artistic career.
