Gil Montandon (born April 28, 1965 in Neuchâtel) is a Swiss professional ice hockey Centre.

He is the first player to have played 1000 games in the Swiss National League A and he isn't done yet. At age 42, he signed another contract for the hockey season 2008/09 with the HC Fribourg-Gottéron. In Switzerland he is called "Mr. Playoff", because he always gets his best form in the playoffs. In this season he shot the favourited SC Bern with his goal in the overtime out of business and "Gotteron" in the semi-finals.
