Gil Hyatt was the winner of the television show Average Joe: Hawaii, a show in which "Average Joes" competed to win the attentions of Larissa Meek. Later in the show, a group of "hunks" were brought in to compete against the Joes. After being chosen over all the other "pretty boys" and "Average Joes", Gil flew with Larissa in a private jet to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Gil Hyatt has a degree in business management/finance from Appalachian State University in North Carolina, graduating in 2000. He helps run a family owned business "Gil Hyatt Construction" based in Southern Florida.
