Surely this page could be improved. For such an important city the information is scanty, far worse than Encarta or the Britannica.Portcult 07:46, 20 Aug 2003 (UTC) Excuse, I am going to remove the (false) ethymology of Gijón, since early mediaeval texts are clear about it: Gigia, which cannot come from "Saxo" at all. 212.51.52.4 20:35, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
