"Today the life of the whole community of Gibraltar is the public house" sounds more like an opinion (a POV) than a fact. True, it's not the worst POV I've ever seen :-) but it's doesn't really add to the article.

Also, the WP style guide cautions against phrases that will date - so I removed "The building is still undergoing renovations". It might be true when it was written but will it be true when it's read in a year's time! :-)

The idea was to update it once it's been done. I'm not planning on going anywhere. Francs2000 21:37, 16 Dec 2003 (UTC)
Hi Francs
That policy is Wikipedia:Avoid_statements_that_will_date_quickly - it's not the biggest deal, but you need to remember that a reader will have no idea whether such statements have been updated to be current or not. BTW, I see you've written lots of articles on villages around Bucks; the ones I've read look really good so don't take my nit-picking to heart! Spellbinder
I'm a Buckinghamshire historian. It's taking a while, but there'll be one for every place in Bucks eventually. Francs2000 18:07, 17 Dec 2003 (UTC)
