Gibsonia, Pennsylvania

Gibsonia, Pennsylvania is an unincorporated community in both Allegheny County and Butler County, Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania approximately 16 north of the city of Pittsburgh. The elevation is 1,037 feet. Gibsonia appears on the Valencia U.S. Geological Survey Map. Allegheny County is in the Eastern time zone (GMT -5). Zip Code is 15044. Named in honor of the Gibson family who settled the area and their original house is still standing.[citation needed] This sits near a railroad line leading out and into the City of Pittsburgh.

Gibsonia is in part located in the Pine-Richland School District, the Hampton Township School District as well as a small portion of the Deer Lakes School District, and in Butler, the Mars School District.
