Gibson Motor Sport

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gibson Motor Sport is an Australian motor racing team. Fred Gibson was the original team owner.[1] In 1993 the team changed from Nissan to Holden cars.[2] The team was running the Holden Commodore VR in 1995 and 1996.[3] but began running Ford in 2001 when they signed Craig Lowndes to a 5 year deal.[4] A 2001 Federal Court case in Melbourne with Fred Gibson and Noel Watson (a driver manager and merchandiser), taking action against the businessman Bob Forbes[1] was distributive to the team. In 2002 Fred Gibson was no longer with the team.[2]
