Gibraltar west

The West Side of Gibraltar contains nearly all of the urban area and over 98% of the population of the colony.

It is split into 6 residential areas:-

• The Town Area (population according to the 2001 census: 3,588)
• The North District (population 4,116)
• The South District (population 4,257)
• The Upper Town (population 2,805)
• Sandpits (population 2,207)
• The Reclamation Areas (population 9,599)
