Gibson E. Armstrong is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania State Senate who has represented the 13th District since 1984. Previously he was a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 1977 through 1984. He was Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving from 1965-1969.
His son, Gibson C. Armstrong, was a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives until 2007.
Armstrong is a graduate of Westminster College in Pennsylvania and was an investment advisor prior to his career in politics.
