{{helpme}}
I have added and edited a page which shows up when i search for it from my computer, but when I use another computer it just doesn't come out as a result.
What is the problem?
Thanks,
- Wikipedia's search is generally very bad. If you don't enter the title of the article exactly, it searches for exact matches of the words you entered, so the slightest typo gets you no results. You can try using an external search engine, or, since it's a page you've edited, you can check your contributions for a link to the page. Hersfold (t/a/c) 14:03, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
- The search engine works from a separate database. Google probably updates its database faster than Wikipedia updates its one. But special pages / new pages is always up to date. And as the contributor above says, "my contributions" is always the place to go if you have made a typo in a title.
[edit] Prod
Sorry to prod your article but, as I say, this reads like an essay. We need references to show that this is an accepted term. Also, I am very suspicious about the image. Did you create it? If so, please upload it again at a much higher resolution so that all the text can be read! It will probably be better if you work on improving existing articles here rather than trying to create a new one. -- RHaworth 16:28, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
