[edit] Biographies

Rory Lee Feek was born in Atchison, Kansas. As a songwriter, Feek has co-written Blake Shelton's Number One single "Some Beach", as well as Top 5 hits for Clay Walker ("The Chain of Love") and Collin Raye ("Someone You Used to Know").

In 2005, Rory and four partners founded http://www.storybehindthesong.net, an interactive website providing the stories behind several country music hits. He also co-wrote the story "The Chain of Love" that was published in the Chicken Soup book series in the "Chicken Soup for the Country Soul" volume.

Tim Johnson grew up in a small logging community in western Oregon. He has written more than one hundred country music songs for other artists,[citation needed] including hits for George Strait, Mark Chesnutt, Tracy Byrd, Diamond Rio, and Alan Jackson.

Rory found, self-funded, and co-produced Blaine Larsen's debut album with Johnson, independently creating and releasing a single, video and album that received major airplay and resulted in a major label co-imprint deal with BNA Records.[citation needed]

[edit] Song Trust: "Bring Him Home Santa"

In December 2007, Giantslayer partnered with Capitol Records to release a Christmas song entitled "Bring Him Home Santa". Written by Feek and Johnson, the song was sung by an anonymous six-year-old girl and credited to the Song Trust.[1] On the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart dated for the week of January 5, 2008, "Bring Him Home Santa" reached a peak of #29.
