The Giant Scops-owl, Lesser Eagle-owl, or Mindanao Eagle-owl, Mimizuku gurneyi, is a species of owl in the Strigidae family. It is the only species in genus Mimizuku.
It is endemic to the Philippines. In size and structure, it is considered intermediate between a scops owl and a eagle owl.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
