Gianfranco Gazzana-Priaroggia

Gianfranco Gazzana Priaroggia (30 August 1912 in Milan, killed in action 23 May 1943 in the North Atlantic) was an officer in the Regia Marina (Italian Navy). He commanded multiple submarines during World War II.

During World War II he commanded the U-Boote Malachite, Durbo, Tazzoli, Archimede and Leonardo da Vinci. During the war he sank a Tonnage of 90.601 BRT. His boat was sunk on 23 May 1943 bei HMS Active and the Frigate HMS Ness.
