[edit] Career
[edit] Playing
Camolese started his professional career with hometown club Torino. He then played for Biellese, Reggina, Alessandria, Lazio, Padova, Vicenza and Taranto. He retired from professional football in 1993.
[edit] Coaching
Camolese started his managing career working as Torino's youth coach. He was appointed as first team coach in 2001 following Luigi Simoni's sacking, and led the granata to immediate promotion in Serie A and a safe escape from relegation one year later. Sacked on October 2002 because of poor results, he returned into coaching in 2003, replacing Franco Colomba at the helm of Reggina, and avoiding relegation once again; this however proved not to be enough for Camolese to be confirmed for the next season.
He served as Vicenza head coach in their 2005-06 campaign, as well as the first five Serie B 2006-07 matches, before being fired and replaced by Angelo Gregucci. He was appointed to replace Fernando Orsi as Livorno boss in October 2007,[1] being however sacked himself on April 28, 2008, leaving Livorno down in bottom place with three league matches remaining.[2]
