Giacomo Cipriani (born 28 October 1980 in Bologna) is an Italian football player. He currently plays for U.S. Avellino as a striker, on loan from Bologna F.C. 1909.
[edit] Football career
Cipriani started his career at Bologna. His impression in youth national teams made Juventus F.C. bought half of his footballing rights, as he remained on loan at Bologna.
After consecutive loans to Piacenza and Sampdoria in 2003-04 season, Bologna bought back Cipriani from Juventus and signed a contract extension in September 2004, into 30 June 2007.[1]
In January 2008, Cipriani was loaned again, this time to Serie B's U.S. Avellino.
